ULM Continuing Education Offers Classes for January
The Division of Continuing Education at the University of Louisiana
at Monroe will be offering several new classes beginning in January
designed to appeal to individuals of any age and walk of life.
Start the New Year with something truly different--Belly Dancing.
The ancient and beautiful art of belly dancing will be taught
on Thursdays, Jan. 20-March 3 from 7-8 p.m. in Room 120 of Brown
Annex by a qualified, international instructor. Belly dancing
has increased in popularity throughout the world as women have
discovered its health and weight loss benefits. Cost of the 7-week
class is $60.
Classes as different as Chinese Calligraphy, "Smart Women
Finish Rich," "Get the Dirt on Gardening," Pilates,
Tai Chi, REIKI and Beginning Yoga, as well as the more traditional
floral design, beginning drawing, guitar, watercolor painting,
beginning bridge and business classes will also be offered beginning
in January.
Parents can find help in classes on "Science Fair Projects--Tell Me What To Do" and "Social Studies Fair--Projects Galore."
