ULM Researchers Receive Top Honors at International Conference
Shravanthi Gandra, Pharmacy Administration Ph.D candidate and her major advisor, Dr. Lesa Waggoner Lawrence, received the "Best Poster" research award at the Annual Conference of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) held this month in Washington, DC. There were over 500 poster submissions from 25 countries around the world. Their poster was titled "Assessment of Patient-Reported Outcomes Among Osteoarthritic Patients" and contained an abstract, methodology, results, and conclusions of their research. They also have research posters accepted for presentation at the regional and national levels. In June, they will present their research, "Healthcare Utilization among Migraineurs with CoMorbid Depression," at the Southern Pharmacy Administration Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Their research "Evaluation of the Introduction of Sildenafil Citrate on the Self-Report and Diagnosis of Erectile Dysfunction," will be presented at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah, in July.
