ULM School of Pharmacy Gets $5,000 Donation
The Red River Region Pharmacist Association presented a $5,000 donation to the ULM School of Pharmacy in memory of Cathy Gutweiler Turbeville, a 1989 graduate of pharmacy. Turbeville was a member of the Red River Region Pharmacist Association and Director of the Pharmacy at Willis-Knighton Hospital in Bossier City.
During the June monthly meeting of the Association, Robert Collins, Treasurer, David Burch, President and Joel Turbeville (Cathy's husband), presented the check to Dr. Greg Leader, Associate Dean and Director of the School of Pharmacy, and Dr. William Bourn, Associate Vice President for Health Sciences Development at ULM. The funds are to be used to purchase testing equipment for use by clinical pharmacy faculty and senior pharmacy students in teaching clinics in the pharmacy program.
