Dr. Ronald Berry Named Interim Dean for the College of Business Administration

A Memo e-mailed to employees at ULM:

Dear Colleagues,

Dr. Ronald Berry, Head of the Department of Computer Information Systems and Entergy Endowed Professor of CIS, has been named Interim Dean for the College of Business Administration effective August 9.

Dr. Berry is highly respected both in the College of Business Administration and in the wider university community. He has proven himself to be an effective teacher, a productive scholar, and a skillful administrator. Dr. Berry's superior leadership and management skills will be of tremendous benefit to the college at this time. Dr. Berry earned his doctorate from Mississippi State University in Management Information Systems in 1995, joined the ULM faculty in 1995 and became department head of CIS in 2000. He was recognized by the ULM Alumni Association as the Outstanding Professor in the College of Business in 2002 and as the Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding Professor in Business in 2004.

Former Dean of CBA, Dr. Kenneth Clow, stepped down from the position earlier this week and will return to the classroom. A national search for his replacement will commence immediately.
