ULM Cheerleaders Recognized by Area Leaders
United States Representative Rodney Alexander recently addressed Congress to congratulate ULM's cheerleaders on their national championship title. He spoke of their hard work and added, "Their victory is a testament to the hard work and dedication that all the students and faculty at ULM possess." Naming each squad member by name, he then led Congress in a tribute, everyone saying "Go, Tribe, Go" together.
Mayor Jamie Mayo also wrote a proclamation in honor of the cheerleaders. Both leaders were recognized at a recent ULM basketball game for their acknowledgement of the cheerleader's accomplishment.
