ULM Professor Completes Harvard Program
Dr. Lesa Waggoner Lawrence, assistant professor of Pharmacy Administration at ULM, completed a higher education program at Harvard University School of Public Health in Boston in August. The program was titled "Measurement, Design and Analysis Methods for Health Outcomes Research" and included research involving pharmacoeconomics and measuring health and quality of life outcomes by using psychometrics and latent variable structural equation modeling. The program was conducted by the Department of Biostatistics and the Center of Continuing Professional Education. The coursework included psychometrics, structural equation modeling, item response theory, and biostatisitics.
