ULM Instructor Holding Book Signing
Wm. Mark Simmons, instructor for the Department of Mass Communications
at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and General Manager/Program
Director of the KEDM radio station, has recently released his
fifth book entitled, Dead on My Feet. The setting for
the book is Monroe, La.
Simmons will sign copies of his new book at Windows a bookshop,
located at 609 Park Avenue, on Tuesday, October 28. The signing
will begin at 7 p.m., and at 7:30 Simmons will give a reading
from the book. The public is invited to attend this free event.
Dead on My Feet sells for $24 (hardcover).
Simmons's first novel, In the Net of Dreams, was a finalist
for the Compton Crook Award and made the LOCUS "Best"
List in 1990. His Dreamlands trilogy is currently being
translated for publication in the Czech Republic. Frequently
praised as a master of twisted humorous fantasy, Simmons's novels
are noted for combining serious ideas with relentless plot twists
