ULM College of Business to Hold "Professors-In-Residence" Program
The College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will hold its third semi-annual "Professionals-in-Residence" program on March 25 and 26, 2003. The objective of the program is to develop and enhance relationships with businesses in the community by encouraging interaction between business professionals, faculty and students. Business professionals are invited to teach CBA classes during the program and will have an opportunity to interact with faculty during breaks.
A highlight of the program is a luncheon on Wednesday, March 26, from noon until 1:30 p.m. in the ULM Conference Center. The speaker at the luncheon will be Mr. Xian Wang, owner of the local Peking Restaurants. He will speak on how he developed his business, business opportunities in China for American business people, and opportunities for the Chinese to establish businesses here in Ouachita Parish. For individuals wishing to attend the luncheon, tickets are $12 each and can be purchased at the Dean's office in the College of Business Administration. Please call 342-1100 to make reservations.
The program hosts are the CBA Center for Professional and Organization Development, the Center for Business and Economic Research, the College of Business Administration, and the student organizations of AITP, Gamma Iota Sigma, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
