ULM Advanced Placement Institute to Begin Soon
The University of Louisiana at Monroe will be offering the
Advanced Placement
Institute for teachers currently teaching or preparing to teach
advanced placement courses in high schools. The 2003 Advance
Placement Institute will offer workshops in biology, calculus
AB, English language and composition, English literature and
composition, and United States history. The Institute will begin
this Sunday at 6 p.m. with registration and orientation in the
University Conference Center on the 7th floor of the ULM Library.
A light supper sponsored by Ouachita Parish Schools will be provided.
The Institute will conclude at noon, Friday, July 25. The workshop
is open to senior high school teachers only. Summer 2004 will
include plans for junior high through high school teachers. Call
