ULM Gerontology and Football team join for "Unsual" Fashion Show to Benefit the Community
The Monroe Housing Authority's Senior Retirement Committee in conjunction with the Department of Gerontology at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and the ULM Football team will hold an unusual fashion show featuring apparel created with common household items at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8
The show will feature "Closet Creations," the latest
designs in feminine and masculine apparel and demonstrate how
fine fashion can be created by common household items. The show
will be held at the Ouachita Grand Plaza Auditorium at 501 South
Grand St. Admission is free.
Entertainment for the event will be provided by the ULM Athletic
Department and Janet Golson's School of Dance featuring "The
Golden Girls and Silver Bells." Dr. Chris Johnson of the
ULM Gerontology Department and Mary Simpson will emcee the program.
