Meet the 2002 ULM Homecoming Court
A luncheon honoring the 2002 University of Louisiana at Monroe
Homecoming Court will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 12:00 noon.
The luncheon will be held on the 7th floor of the library.
This year ULM's homecoming court was selected for the first time
through on-line voting. Students were able to vote from any
computer by accessing the ULM web site. There were also certain
computers set up for the students to vote with in the Student
Union Building. On-line voting allowed almost 5 times as many
students to vote than in the past when using paper ballots.
The following students have been selected in the first on-line Homecoming election: Freshmen Stephanie Garcia and Mekisha Smith; Sophomores Chelsa Jackson and Erin Townsend; Juniors Amy Cummins, and Latosha Jackson; Seniors Kristal Gentry, Leslie Harrington, and Natalie Williams. Homecoming King is senior Josh Pigott.
Homecoming Queen will be announced on the field during half time of the homecoming game. The homecoming game will be played at 6:00 p.m. in Malone Stadium against Utah State.
