Former ULM SGA President Michael Gray Is Thanked By The UL System President
Dr. Sally Clausen, president of the University of Louisiana System, thanks Michael Gray of Monroe, outgoing student member of the ULS Board of Supervisors, for his year-long service to the Board. Gray, former president of the Student Government Association at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, was elected last summer by his fellow SGA presidents to serve on the ULS Board during the 2001-02 academic year. Dr. Clausen praised Gray for "his tremendous investment of time and distinguished service" which included serving on two presidential search committees (Southeastern Louisiana University and ULM) and leading the UL-System's project of raising $62,000 to help buy "The Spirit of Louisiana" firetruck for New York City in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Gray graduated from ULM in May, but is continuing his studies at the university by working on a master's degree in business administration.
