Veterans Small Business Day at ULM
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Small Business Development Center will host a Veterans Small Business Day on Thursday, February 21, 2002, from 8:00 a.m. to noon in the ULM Administration Building room 2-105.
The workshop is designed to inform veterans who want to start or expand their business assistance programs, sources of funds, and Small Business Administration veteran programs. Veterans will also learn the basics of starting and financing start ups or expansions of small businesses.
Speakers include Willie Williams, Veteran Affairs Officer from U.S. Small Business Administration; John Broussard, USDA Business Cooperative Services; Tom Austin, Louisiana Economic Development Corporation, and Eugenie Goodwin, Enterprise Corporation of the Delta.
Representatives from the ULM Small Business Development Center; Business LINC, Service Corp of Retired Executives, and the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs will make short presentations.
There will be a question and answer session and time to talk with individual presenters.
