ULM announces new policy on out-of-state fee waivers
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors recently approved a new undergraduate out-of-state fee waiver. This policy, along with the Academic Out-of-State Scholarship Fee Waiver (which is currently in place), will allow non-resident, eligible students to pay in-state fees.
Total fees and tuition without the waiver are $4,129.45 per semester. If a student qualifies for the waiver, the tuition and fees are cut by $2,976.00, bringing the cost to $1,153.45 per semester.
ULM Dean of Enrollment Management, Dr. Mahmoud Saffari, says, "This is a major accomplishment for our university. This will allow students who may not have the opportunity to attend ULM to now have that chance and we are very excited about the possibilities of more students being able to enroll at ULM."
