ULM gears up for Homecoming 2001

Next week is homecoming 2001 on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. The theme this year is "The Heat is On." The week is full of activities. The heat will really be on Oct. 6, Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. when ULM plays North Texas in ULM's homecoming game at Malone Stadium.

New this year at ULM will be the naming of the Homecoming Queen on the football field at halftime, the naming usually happened the week before the game.

The tradition of tailgating in The Grove continues this year as many school groups get together to celebrate ULM's homecoming 2001.

All members of the media are invited to the activities, please see the following schedule for a list of events.
