ULM to co-host Career Fair for area high school junior and seniors
ULM and the Monroe Chamber of Commerce's Northern Lights program are hosting a Career Fair for area high school juniors and seniors. The fair begins today, September 10, and lasts until Thursday, September 13. It begins at 8:30 a.m. and goes to noon in Fant-Ewing Coliseum on ULM's Campus.
Booths are set up featuring businesses from around the region. Area colleges and universities also are on hand for the event. Students are welcome to talk to the representatives at each booth about a possible future with their organization.
Some vendors at the coliseum are the Art Institute of Dallas, KTVE, and State Farm. Students can also learn about various programs available for study at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
This is the second year this program has been at ULM. There is no charge to the businesses to set up, and there is no charge for the students to attend. ULM expects over 3,000 students to come to the event.
