ULM's alumni association to give grants to student organizations
The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Alumni Association will give grants to 11 student organizations this Thursday, Nov. 1 at 2:00 p.m. The reception will be held at ULM's Alumni Center.
The recipients this year are 31 Ambassadors, International Students Association, ULM Construction Guild, American Meteorological Society, Alpha Eta Rho, NSSLHA (Speech, Language, Hearing), GreekSeekers, Flying Tomahawks Aviation Flight Team, Phi Alpha Theta (History Honor Society), Lambda Pi Eta (Speech & Theater), and SSWA (Social Work).
The ULM Alumni Association awards funds to ULM Student Organizations in order to promote and enhance academic excellence. The organizations that receive the grants are chosen based on criteria submitted to the Almuni Association Grant Request Committee. The grants range from $100 - $1200 per group.
