ULM Performing Arts Series presents Van Cliburn Medalist Performance at Neville
The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Performing Arts Series presents the winner of the Silver Medal at the Eleventh Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in June, Antonio Pompa-Baldi. At this competition, Pompa-Baldi dazzled the audience as he usually does during numerous engagements throughout Europe and the United States. The twenty-six year old from Italy excelled in a field of thirty world-tested pianists at this most prestigious of competitions held every four years in Fort Worth.
The Van Cliburn Medalist will perform Wednesday Nov. 7, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at Neville High School in Monroe.
Patron memberships to ULM's Performing Arts Series are $180.00 for two season tickets, reserved memberships are $60.00 per season ticket, and ULM students are admitted free with ID.
This performance is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council.
