Chautauqua Nexus presents "Traditional Chinese Medicines"
The Chautauqua Nexus will meet on Friday, March 9, at 4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Union Building on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus.
Huiyi "Amos" Shu, a ULM graduate student in business administration, will speak on "Traditional Chinese Medicines". Shu will talk about traditional Chinese medicine, concentrating on the use of herbs and other natural plants and spices. He will also speak about medicines that increase potency for fertility purposes. Shu, who holds a master's degree in pharmacy, worked with traditional medicines while living in China.
