ULM's Chautauqua Nexus meets Friday
The Chautauqua Nexus will meet on Friday, March 30, at 4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Union Building on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus.
Dr. Frank Pezold, a Biology professor at ULM, will present "Fishing in the desert: a glimpse of conservation and life in the Niger River basin of Mali." Pezold will show slides of the region and of fish found there, and will summarize the results of a conservation research workshop he organized in Bamako, Mali, this year. Pezold is the curator of Zoology and of the Museum of Natural History at ULM. The museum has one of the largest fish collections in the United States.
