Tickets available for "Porgy and Bess"
Tickets are still available for the ULM Performing Arts Series' production of "Porgy and Bess" this Friday at 7 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center.
"Porgy and Bess" is universally recognized as a landmark in American Theatre. It was conceived as a "folk opera" and this Peter Klein production features a 21-piece orchestra.
Tickets are $25 and may be reserved by calling 342-3600. The tickets may be picked up at ULM's University Advancement on the sixth floor of University Library, or Friday beginning at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center box office.
Tickets purchased for "Porgy and Bess" will also be good for the ULM Performing Arts Series' production of "Spalding Gray's Morning, Noon and Night," Friday, March 2 at the Civic Center.
