"Digger's Night Out" at ULM
The ULM School of Construction, in conjunction with the Ouachita Parish Joint Utility Council will host its second annual "Digger's Night Out" Thursday, October 19, 2000.
"Digger's Night Out" is a nationwide program focusing on underground utility damage prevention and safety education. The program will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the University Conference Center on the seventh floor of the University Library.
This free safety awareness program, sponsored by public utilities companies, is geared toward foremen, operators and anyone who digs underground.
This year's guest speaker, Dr. Rob McKim from Louisiana Tech University, will talk about the advantages of trenchless technology. A buffet style dinner will be served after the presentation.
