ULM physics professor makes presentation to National Science Foundation
Dr. Louis Bedell, Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, recently prented an invited talk at the National Science Foundation Conference in Washington, D.C.
The conference brought together respresentatives of the Collaborative for Excellence in the Preparation of Teachers (CEPT) from 30 sites around the nation. Louisiana's own effort, LaCEPT, is administered by the Board of Regents and has been conducted at several state institutions in addition to ULM.
Bedell demonstrated "CyberInteractor," a computer program devised to help instructors manage teaching activities with computers to classes of 50 or more students. The program was developed in close collaboration with Dr. Mark Somers, Assistant Professor of Physics at ULM, and had been demonstrated at several state meetings.
