ULM's Small Business Development Center to conduct workshops
The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Small Business Development Center will be conducting a series of free workshops "Starting and/or Financing a Small Business."
The first of the workshops will be held Thursday, July 13 from 6-8 p.m. in the ULM Administration Building room 2-105. Workshops will also be held on Thursday, Aug. 10 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 26 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in room 2-105 of the Administration Building.
This workshop is recommended for individuals who: want to determine the feasibility of their business idea; are planning to start a small business; have just started their own business; are interested in obtaining a small business loan; or want to learn more about planning.
Topics of discussion include business planning, marketing strategy development, financial planning, loan applications and sources of funds for small business start-up and expansion.
There is no charge for the seminar, but preregistration is required. Call 342-1224 for more information or to register.
