ULM to host alumni event in New Orleans

The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Alumni Association and its Athletic Scholarship Foundation will host "A Day in the Park" Saturday, July 15, at 1 p.m.

The event will be held at Popp Fountain in New Orleans City Park. The park is located at Marconi Drive and Zachary Taylor.

Special guests at the event will be ULM administrators, members of the Indians' coaching staff and Director of Athletics Warner Alford. Tickets are $9 per person and food will be served. For information, contact the ULM Alumni Relations Office at (800) 261-0174.

Also featured will be golf at the City Park West course. Tee time is 8 a.m. and the cost is $25 per person. For information on golf, contact Pat Dayton at (504) 482-4888.
