ULM 's Dental Hygeine graduates pass National Board Exam
The Department of Dental Hygiene at the University of Louisiana at Monroe has received word that all of its 23 graduates who took the National Board Examination in the spring passed. This exam was administered by the American Dental Association Department of Testing Services.
Most states require that students pass this examination prior to taking their state board exam. Hygienists must be licensed in each state in which they practice.
Although a break down of all the scores has not yet been released, ULM was notified that its students scored higher on the National Board Examination than the national average.
