ULM's Dean of Enrollment Management a featured speaker
Dr. Mahmoud Saffari, Dean of Enrollment Management at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, will be a featured speaker for the 14th National Conference on Student Retention July 12-15 in Washington, D.C.
The conference will focus on student retention, recruitment and financial aid, success of special populations, academic advising/success courses, and student-centered service initiatives.
Saffari will address the conference on "Managing Enrollment Through Retention: Top Ten Focal Areas."
Recently, Saffari was also a featured speaker at the North American Enrollment Management Institute in Vail, Colo. At that conference, Saffari spoke on "Managing Enrollment Management Through Retention: Top Ten Areas to Focus."
The Enrollment Management Institute was a meeting of enrollment management professionals who gathered to learn the latest information on successful and emerging practices in enrollment management and student retention. The four-day session had over 300 enrollment professionals in attendance.
