ULM Names Homecoming Court, King and Queen
Toria Hall was named Queen and Patrick Horstkamp King of the 1999 University of Louisiana at Monroe Homecoming Court announced at the ULM Student Government Association Banquet Tuesday night.
Hall, a Winnsboro senior majoring in Biology, is the daughter of Mrs. Fern Mills and Mr. William Hall. Horstkamp is an Educational Administration and Supervision graduate student from Bryan's Road, Mary, He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas W. Horstkamp, III. This is the first time that ULM has selected a King as part of its Homecoming Court.
Other members of the Court included: Shannon Bagnet, Hammond; Jennifer Brady, Jena; Melissa Cheek, Denham Springs; Kema Dawson, Monroe; Amy Dougherty, Monroe; Carla Roque, Natchitoches; Miranda Self, Bastrop; Angel Venable, Slidell; and Jody White, Monticello, Ark.
Homecoming activities will continue Wednesday with a parade on campus beginning at 6 p.m. at Filhiol Hall. Thursday's highlight will be the Alumni Awards Dinner where the 1999 Golden Arrow Award winner, the highest honor bestowed on an ULM alumnus, will be presented.
Saturday's Homecoming football game between the Indians and Middle Tennessee State is slated for 1 p.m. at Malone Stadium.
