ADMISSION: Free and open to the public
MONROE, LA – The University of Louisiana Monroe School of Visual and Performing Arts presents the 26th Annual ULM Juried Art Exhibition through May 2 at Bry Art Gallery, 4101 Desiard St. in Monroe. Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
“This is an incredibly talented group of art students,” said ULM Art Program Coordinator Dr. Joni Noble. “Their work this year is colorful and very thoughtfully produced,” she said.
Students accepted in the competition are: Taylor Allen, Vance Anderson, Trinity Bass, Lemon Burnside, Sarah Diel, Hannah Eason, Daija Essien, Brianna Fife, Wyn Garner, Kassidy Greer, Faith Hensley, Macie Hunt, Jansyn Jenkins, Curtis Johnson, Tyanna Johnson, Alexandra Lantz, Darby Miles, Valerie Murataya, Lee Randels, Kaitlyn Reeves, Brian Scott, Shykeria Smith, Olivia St.Blanc, Xili Swan-Flanders, Charlisa Thomas, Yoselin Torres, Theresa Tran, Jalen West, and Skyler White.
The awards ceremony was held on March 30th to honor the students. Top awards went to Olivia St.Blanc, who won the Gretchen Dean Best of Show Award and Lemon Burnside, who won the O’Neal Family Art Foundation Award.
