A video overview of the Office of the President webpage redesign is on the University of Louisiana Monroe’s YouTube channel, https://bit.ly/3HDzlCO.
The University of Louisiana Monroe has redesigned and launched a new webpage for the Office of the President on ulm.edu.
It has been many years since the president’s webpage was updated to reflect the changing culture of the university. It was a priority for President Ron Berry to have information about ULM readily available and presented in an organized format.
Berry’s vision for the university is stated clearly on the first page, “ … ULM must continue to be to transform lives and serve as a catalyst for breaking the cycle of poverty in Northeast Louisiana and bringing true equality, inclusiveness, and opportunity for all citizens in our region.”
Some of the features of the Office of the President webpage include:
Economic Impact, including the ULM Economic Impact Study and UL System Economic Impact Study
The About section features President Berry and his wife, First Lady Christine Berry, Ph.D., and their family, plus a History of the Office and the President’s Staff. The president’s Media Kit includes biographies of the president and first lady, statements and quotes, ULM facts, and high-resolution photos for download.
The Communications section includes recent news, messages from Berry, an event request link, and photos and videos.
Institutional Progress is a one-stop location for Mission & Vision, Strategic Planning, Facility Master Plan, Economic Impact, and Opportunity Fund.
There is information on the Executive Council, Administrative Council, and Shared Governance on the Leadership page, which includes the Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, and Student Government.
The Take Flight with ULM section is packed with information for future and current students – everything from scholarship info to the student handbook.
The Contact page contains the university calendar, how to reach the president’s staff, and a link to the media kit.
Each section is streamlined yet packed with information. With a dynamic design, fresh photos, and continuously updated content, there are plenty of reasons to visit often the new Office of the President (http://www.ulm.edu/president) webpage on ulm.edu.
