In U.S. News & World Report’s university online program rankings released today, Tuesday,
Jan. 9, the University of Louisiana Monroe’s online MBA ranks in the nation’s top
100. The only other university in the state in the top 100 is LSU.
According to U.S. News, master’s degree programs in business administration have greater
enrollment, by far, than any other type of graduate business degree program. Prospective
students often narrow their research exclusively to programs that award MBAs.
The 2018 Best Online MBA programs rankings evaluate schools based solely on data related
to their distance education MBA programs. Five categories were used to evaluate each
program: student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials
and training and student services and technology.
The rank and score for ULM include:
— Faculty Credentials and Training rank 42, score 91
— Student Services and Technology rank 77, score 65
— Student Engagement rank 139, score 55
— Admissions Selectivity rank 77, score 55
— Peer assessment score (out of 5) 1.9
ULM was also ranked by U.S. News and World Reports for its online bachelor’s programs
and education programs.
