University of Louisiana Monroe President Nick J. Bruno will present his seventh annual State of the University address at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Brown Auditorium. The public is invited to attend.
The State of the University is given during University Week before the fall semester begins
Bruno will provide information on topics such as enrollment and academics, as well as athletics and facilities.
Some of the highlights of Bruno’s address will be the new degree programs offered such as the Gerontological Clinical Nurse Leader, fall enrollment facts and campus improvements.
He will talk about the economic and cultural impact ULM has on northeast Louisiana, as well as touch on athletic accomplishments, including the first women’s tennis Sunbelt Championship title and the 27th national water ski title.
At the conclusion of the address, the ULM Foundation will present its Foundation Awards for Excellence.
