MONROE, La. — The New Orleans root-driven rock-soul band, The Revivalists, will perform at the University of Louisiana Monroe’s Fant-Ewing Coliseum on Friday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m.
The band’s performance was secured by ULM’s Athletic Department, which organized the concert as a prelude to the University of Idaho football match that will take place the day after the concert.
The seven-piece band has released three full-length albums since its formation in 2007. Their latest album, “Men Amongst Mountains,” published in 2015, debuted at number two on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart and has already racked up over 5 million streams on Spotify.
The Revivalists were recently featured on TheToday Show with Honda and Kathie Lee as Radio icon Elvis Duran’s artist of the month.
In March of 2016, the well-known magazine, Rolling Stones, named the band as one of “10 Bands You Need to Know.”
The Bishop Gunn, a rock band from Natchez, Miss., will provide the opening act.
ULM student tickets are $15, and general public tickets for general admission and floor are $20.
Tickets for the event are now available and can be purchased at ulmwarhawks.com or www.therevivalists.com.
