According to the NACADA, their mission is to promote and support quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to enhance the educational development of students.
Dolecheck and Griswold’s presentation was titled “Advising Strategies Employed in an Undergraduate Online Health Studies Program.”
“There were over 1500 people in attendance at this conference,” said Dolecheck. “There was significant interest in our topic as many attendees spoke with us about our subject. NACADA has invited us to present the topic again at their next annual conference due to the significant interest in this area.”
Dolecheck earned a Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University and has taught at ULM since 1995.
Griswold earned a Ph.D. in toxicology from ULM. She has taught at ULM since 2007.
