The staff from Marsala has a selection of beers to sample, featuring Louisiana brews as well as beers from around the world. Many of the brewers will be on hand to answer questions about how the idea for each beer was conceived, and to talk about the brewing process.
“This is a great chance to try out many different kinds of beer in just a couple of hours, all while supporting the mission of public radio on KEDM,” says General Manager Jay Curtis.
“The festive atmosphere really makes for an enjoyable evening.”
Rhoda Brown’s barbeque will be available for an additional donation. Proceeds from the event help “Secure the Sound” of KEDM Public Radio at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Samples from the KEDM cookbook “Variations & Improvisations” will be available for tasting as well.
Singer/songwriter Zach O’Neil, a native of Simsboro, will provide live entertainment during the event.
Cost to attend is $10 per person. Rhoda Brown’s barbeque is an additional $10.
