Applicants must complete the following by the end of the Spring semester that application
is made: Prerequisite courses include: Human Anatomy with lab, Human Physiology, Statistics, Human Growth and Development, Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to Sociology or Introductory Anthropology, and pathology courses that address common conditions treated by occupational threapy in adult, pediatric, and mental health populations. 4) be admitted to the ULM Graduate School with a minimum overall grade point average
(GPA) of 2.5, and no less than a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale for the last 30 hours. There is a deadline of March 1 for both Fall and Spring cohorts. The Master of Occupational Therapy typically accepts 32 new students each Fall and 15 new students each Spring Semester.

What career options do I have as an occupational therapist?
Occupational therapy practitioners work in a wide range of settings including schools,
hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health, outpatient rehabilitation clinics,
psychiatric facilities, and community health programs. School systems, hospitals,
and long-term-care facilities are the primary work settings for occupational therapists

When will I be notified about program admission?
Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and review will continue until
the program is full. No admission decisions are given over the phone. All applicants
will be notified of a decision, in writing, on or before June 30.
