The ULM graduate program in Educational Technology Leadership, also known as "Instructional Technology", is based on a core curriculum of 36 academic hours of graduate credit. This program does not require a teaching certificate. Educational Technology leaders have a direct impact on the planning and utilization of technology for learning, teaching, and training; in particular, this program focuses on practical and effective strategies to apply "best practices" of "Instructional Design" using the Internet.
The mission of this program is to make a significant and long-lasting positive impact on learning, online training, and professional excellence through the creation of authentic online projects applying Internet-based technology skills and methodologies for developing online learning and training opportunities in public and private organizations. This program is based on a process of creating challenging projects that address and apply professional competencies in "eLearning".
